Established in 2003, Wellton Hospital has committed it self to treating patients with joint and spine problems.

Our ‘five specialized centers’ (Artificial Joint Center, Sports Joint Center, Spine Center, Rehabilitation Treatment Center, Internal Medicine & Health Screening Center) equipped with medical expertise offer customized and specialized medical services for patients with higher efficiency. Collaboration between centers provides convenience to patients with problems in both joints and spine or other diseases by allowing them to be treated in one place.

All medical practitioners at Wellton Hospital engage in constant research to explore better medical solutions to facilitate quick recovery of patients in pain or facing mobility challenges. As a result, Wellton Hospital became the first hospital in the nation to provide a ‘walking at 4 hours after surgery’ service based on its unique medical technology (muscle tendon conservation) and rich experience. The trust we have built in quick recovery and outstanding treatment results serves to attract many patients to Wellton Hospital from home and abroad. In particular, we are proud of having the largest accumulated number of artificial hip joint replacement surgeries, which is a high-level joint surgery, among hospitals that provide tertiary care in South Korea.

As an international medical training institution for artificial joint surgery, we propose the standards of most updated surgical techniques. We also invite doctors from medically-deprived countries to spread our medical skills, which contributes to promoting Korea’s advanced medical technologies to countries around the world.
